About Us

Our Mission at “Drat & Cat Suggest…” is to provide simple yet effective written reviews of companies, products, services & topics of interest to the tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) community (Short, too! To help you decide in 750 words or less!) We also wish to profile successful content creators to show community members what is possible with hard work, and whose example and knowledge can help new community members. We also welcome new & existing independent content creators to contact us so we may help their work reach a larger audience. Just use the CONTACT US feature of the site!

Hillary, the cat here at “Drat & Cat Suggest” being silly!

The other half of “Drat & Cat Suggest” is me, Talia Heart (@dratheart on Twitter). I’m a 42 year old disabled trans woman from Texas, and this website came about as an idea to make a positive space in my mind, which is hard given my pain & mental health difficulties. My goal here is to review content in what I hope is a simple & helpful manner. I’m starting off with Free League’s RPG products primarily (though please note I’m not a FL employee and my views aren’t necessarily theirs) as they have been generous enough to provide me content and encouragement. I’ll review other content as I can. The other thing I hope to do here is help uplift creators with less resources than me, and also share with them people I admire who helped shape my path, and, who may be helpful in theirs. I also want to be a mental health advocate and provide a safe space for people who may feel alone, sad, or in any way worth less than others; they are welcome & safe here!
